Navigating multiple monitors during meetings can be a challenge, especially when the mouse cursor seems to vanish. Enter Center Cursor on Screen, a lightweight utility developed by TruckleSoft to simplify this task.
What Is ‘Center Cursor on Screen’?
Designed with the Audio-Visual Team in mind, this tool addresses the common issue of losing track of the mouse cursor across various screens. Whether you’re managing presentations, operating video feeds, or handling other AV responsibilities, this utility ensures your cursor is always within reach.
Key Features
- Instant Cursor Centering: With global hotkeys (CTRL + ALT + 1, 2, 3, or 4), you can instantly center the mouse on a specific monitor. This is particularly useful in setups with multiple displays of varying sizes and resolutions.
- System Tray Integration: The application runs silently in the system tray, allowing quick access without cluttering your taskbar. Right-clicking the tray icon provides options to view the ‘About’ window, manage startup settings, or exit the application.
- User-Friendly Installer: The installer is designed for ease of use, offering options to launch the application post-installation and to start it automatically upon login. It also ensures only a single instance runs, preventing hotkey conflicts.
Recent Updates
The latest version, 1.2.0, introduces a helpful popup notification if any hotkeys are already registered by other applications, ensuring smooth operation without conflicts. Previous updates have included a refreshed application icon, improved installer behaviour, and enhanced hotkey functionality.

Whether you’re part of an AV team or simply someone who juggles multiple monitors, Center Cursor on Screen offers a straightforward solution to keep your cursor where you need it, when you need it.
CCoS has been a useful little utility for our team. As we sometimes have personnel in our A/V team who are not so computer literate, and quickly get frustrated when the cursor mysteriously disappears because it has been moved onto one of the multiple screens (one of which is 15 meters away in the auditorium away from the A/V desk) , being able to hot-key it back to the main screen instantly is a relief.
